Turning the Scoreboard ON and OFF

To turn the scoreboard on and off, press the ON-OFF Button which is located in the upper right corner of the Control Panel.

* NOTE: If scoreboard does not turn on, look on the right side of the Keyboard Console panel, power supply or plug to make sure everything is plugged in correctly.

  To set up programming for a New Contest/Match:

1. Press the PROG IN-OUT button to enter programming.

2. Use the ‘ + ‘ and ‘ – ‘ to change the values.

3. Press the NEXT button to advance to the next parameter.

4. Press the PROG IN-OUT button to exit programming.

 

Time: Minutes

After Pressing PROG IN-OUT the User will be given the option to change the duration in minutes of the contest:

Use the + ‘ and ‘ ‘ keys to change the minutes (‘ + ‘ to increase the minutes, ‘ ‘ to decrease the minutes).

Time: Seconds

After changing the minutes for the contest press the NEXT button to advance & change the seconds of the match.

Use the + ‘ and ‘ ‘ keys to change the seconds (‘ + ‘ to increase the seconds, ‘ ‘ to decrease the seconds).

Assigning Penalites/Shidos

If the “Blue” contestant is given a Penalty/Shido use the BLUE “SHIDO 1-2-3 ” button on the LEFT side of the Keyboard Console to give the “Blue” contestant the corresponding penalty.

If the “White” contestant is given a Penalty/Shido use the WHITE “SHIDO 1-2-3 button on the RIGHT side of the Keyboard Console to give the “White” contestant the corresponding penalty.

If a contestant loses from “Hansoku Make” press the HANSOKU MAKE button which corresponds to the contestant it was given to (Blue or White).    

   

Start of a New Contest/Match

After all the parameters are set for the contest you should be ready to start.

To begin a new contest press the NEW CONTEST button. All previous information on the scoreboard should be cleared (i.e. everything should read ‘ 0 ‘)

 

Starting and Stopping the time for a Contest.

When the referee says ‘Hajime’ to start the match press the START STOP TIME button to start the time.

When the referee says ‘Matte’ to stop the match press the START STOP TIME button to stop the match time (Osaekomi time will stop as well if being recorded).

 

Scoring of the Contest

If the “Blue” contestant scores use the BLUE  YUKO”, “WAZA-ARI’ or “IPPON” buttons on the LEFT side of the Keyboard Console to give the BLUE contestant the corresponding score.

If the “White” contestant scores use the WHITE  YUKO”, “WAZA-ARI’ or “IPPON” buttons on the RIGHT side of the Keyboard Console to give the WHITE contestant the corresponding score.

 To Cancel an Operation (i.e. Change Score or Penalty)

Press the BACK button which will cancel out the last operation. A maximum of 3 operations can be cancelled.

    Osaekomi

When the referee announces "Osaekomi” press the OSAEKOMI START-STOP button to begin the time for Osaekomi.

When the referee announces "Toketa” to call off Osaekomi press the OSAEKOMI START-STOP button to stop the time.  

After the referee announces “Toketa” or “Matte” to end the Osaekomi, record the score (if any) for the respective contestant press the OSAEKOMI RESET button to reset the Osaekomi time.

  Assigning of OSAEKOMI

A light can be turned on to indicate which contestant has an Osaekomi.

To indicate that the “Blue” Contestant has an “Osaekomi” press the BLUE ARROW which is located to the LEFT of the OSAEKOMI START-STOP button.

To indicate that the “White” Contestant has an “Osaekomi” press the WHITE ARROW, which is located to the RIGHT of the OSAEKOMI START-STOP button.

*NOTE: Pressing OSAEKOMI RESET and/or the NEW CONTEST button will turn off the osaekomi time.
